Ritmuller is playing the singles leg of the championships, in a group consisting of 11 countries.

“I am proud to be playing at what could arguably be the home of bowls at the Gold Coast, which is an absolutely magnificent place to play this sport. I have played six matches and won all six. I have three main games to still play, which I need to win in order to qualify for the quarter-finals.

“I also played in the pairs which ended with massive disappointment for not qualifying for the quarter-finals. I will be giving it my all to try to return home with a medal,” Ritmuller said.
