Police seek family of man killed in hit-and-run on M4

BRIGHTON Beach police are looking for the relatives of a man who was killed in an alleged hit-and-run on the M4 south bound, near the Edwin Swales on-ramp on January 24.

Captain Louise le Roux, the station’s spokesperson said members of the Vispol Unit attended the scene where a pedestrian was believed to have been knocked.

“The man was found lying on the road and was declared deceased by paramedics on scene. The identity of the pedestrian is unknown.

“Detectives are calling on any persons who are missing a family member or friend that has been missing a relative to come forward and assist in identifying the deceased. Witnesses are also urged to come forward and provide any information that can help with the investigation,” she said.
