Electricity outage update: Power may be restored soon
The team on-site are working to repair the cable that caused an outage in several parts of south Durban.
Residents from Montclair and The Bluff areas affected by the electricity outage may be able to breathe a sigh of relief as power is likely to be turned on around 17:00.
Ward 64 councillor Gavin Hegter said the team on-site, working to repair the cable that caused an outage in several parts of South Durban, will energize the system if all goes according to plan.
“Residents are urged to turn off all appliances to reduce load when supply is restored,” said Hegter.
