Police seek family of man killed in alleged hit and run on M4

A case of culpable homicide is being investigated.

WENTWORTH police are searching for the relatives of a man who was found deceased on the M4 freeway, opposite the Clairwood logistics warehouse (old Clairwood racecourse) on November 10, at about 17:20.

Captain Mbuso Gumede, a police spokesperson, said a case of culpable homicide is being investigated. He said the Indian male, who was about 60-years-old, could have been possibly knocked by an unknown vehicle. The man has a tattoo on the left and right arm.

“The deceased is currently being kept at the Phoenix Government Mortuary for identification. The investigator appeals to any witnesses to the incident or relatives to come forward,” he said.
