Shaun bags two titles at Mr SA 2019

Shaun was the only finalist to receive two titles where he was crowned Mr South Africa 2019 first prince and Mr South Africa people’s choice winner.

THE Bluff’s very own Shaun Stander, who was the only one to represent KZN in the Mr South Africa 2019 finals did not disappoint, securing the title of the first prince at a glamorous event held at The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay in Cape Town recently.

The title was any ones to win, the judges’ criteria was to find someone who exudes integrity, professionalism and compassion towards making a difference in their community. Shaun’s achievements at the competition proved he was a worthy contender. After 10 months of competing, being narrowed down to the top 20 finalists, winning his challenges and winning the countries vote, he now adds another two titles to his list of 73 modelling titles. He was the only finalist to receive two titles where he was crowned Mr South Africa 2019 first prince and Mr South Africa people’s choice winner.

Having successfully completed this journey, he will now further be going on to represent the country on the international stage where he will show the world the beautiful diversity of South Africa. “I would like to be a role model to all men and women, all races and sexualities, to inspire unity and empowerment to work towards a greater future. Allow me to be the voice for those afraid to speak up for themselves and to help those individuals to find the confidence to believe they can do it too,” said a determined Shaun.

Over and above that, Shaun will continue to work with as many charities as he can. Shaun wants to fight against bullying, racism, abuse as well as increase awareness on health. He is also going to further work with schools and education to try raise funds for those underprivileged and work on improving knowledge through schooling.

Shaun further thanks his community and country for standing behind him and for all the support and well wishes he received.
