It is located in the UK and offers vehicles that ooze charisma, quality, craftsmanship and performance. It has been handcrafting traditional British sports cars since 1909.
It has around 850 models – of which over 70% is exported. The range includes the 3 Wheeler, Plus Four and Plus Six, and is sold through 50 dealers in 32 countries.
Having previously stated that the Morgan 3 Wheeler would return, it has now confirmed the development of a new three-wheeled model.
Although not much detail is available, it will be fitted with a naturally aspirated inline three-cylinder Ford engine.
Morgan’s three wheelers date back to the founding of the company in 1909, when HFS Morgan built a three-wheeled vehicle to transport him around the Malvern Hills.
Steve Morris, the chairperson and CEO of Morgan Motor Company, said, “We are thrilled to confirm plans for an all-new three-wheeled Morgan, a model that continues an incredible story dating back to 1909. The upcoming model is an all-new ground-up design and the first whole vehicle programme to be completed under the stewardship of Investindustrial.”
