Missing family from Odendaalsrus found in Durban

The family had hitch-hicked from Alberton to Durban where they ended up seeking assistance from the Point Police.

A family of three Victor Bosman (55), Charlene Lombard (27), and her son Jay Lombard (5) who were reported missing by their relatives on Tuesday, January 26 were found at Point Police Station in Durban.

The couple and their son reported at the Point Police Station on Tuesday night, January 26.

The family had hitch-hicked from Alberton to Durban where they ended up seeking assistance from the Point Police.

Their names were circulated and police found that the family was reported missing in Odendaalsrus.

The Investigating Officer Detective Warrant Officer Maria De Wet was contacted and assisted in ensuring that the family found temporary shelter. Their relatives were notified.

Arrangements are being made by Odendaalsrus police to ensure the safe return of the family.
