First event will be “Unravelling the mysteries of the H.L. Hunley – my recent visit to the Warren Lasch Conservation Centre” by Jan-Willem Hoorweg with the main lecture “Operation Ironclad: The Invasion of Vichy Madagascar 1942” by Errol Cunningham. Wives are welcome to come along with their husbands. Visitors are charged R30 per person, which includes tea or coffee after the lecture. The market runs from 10am to 3pm, giving you ample time to catch a meal, relax while sipping a craft gin or beer in the chill area, listen to soft live jazz or have family fun in the free Seeff Nerf Battle Zone.
