30 A 5km fun run called The UV Run will be held at Rietvlei Zoo Farm on March 30 in aid of Epic Foundation, and hosted by Glow4Events. Runners will get to experience unique “glow zones” along the trail and there will also be a “Bug Zone” where children can get their faces painted, get balloon animals and enjoy other fun activities. 30 INTERNATIONAL Society for Krishna Conscience (ISKCON) will be hosting its second Festival of Chariots, or Ratha Yatra as it is traditionally known, as a celebration of love which envelops the community. The festival is set to start on March 30. The core foundation of the festival is unity and love through active yoga and transcendental meditation. The festival has often been described as a revolutionary one world mardi gras hosted in all the major cities in the world. This course will help married, soon-to-be-married couples living together and dating couples with children from a previous relationship. It is presented by Ron L. Deal who is a world-leading expert in the field of stepfamily enrichment and is facilitated by members of the Alberton Methodist Church who have successfully raised stepchildren. The course will be hosted at Alberton Methodist Church every Wednesday from May 8 to June 19 from 7pm to 9pm.
