EYE Care Awareness Month took place from September 21 to October 18 to raise awareness about the importance of eye health.
Eye Care Awareness Month is to create awareness specifically around the prevention and treatment of avoidable blindness.
Seventy-five per cent of all cases of blindness can be avoided through prevention or the correct treatment. It is advised to go for an eye test at least every 12 months.
