Booysens SAPS arrest suspects

BOOYSENS SAPS arrested a total of 52 suspects for various crimes between Monday, October 10, and Sunday, October 16.

These are the crimes and number of suspects: common assault – nine, bribery – one, dealing in drugs – one, drunken driving – 15, housebreaking and theft – one, malicious damage to property – one, possession of ammunition – six, possession of dagga – three, possession of drugs – three, possession of stolen motor vehicle – two, possession of suspected stolen goods – three, rape – one, shoplifting – one, theft – three, use of motor vehicle without owner’s consent – one, and warrant of arrest – one.
