Children caught up in house robbery
The robbers escaped with TVs and other valuables in a bakkie.
JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Four men in blue overalls robbed a home in Winchester Hills around 11:30 on Wednesday, September 23.
According to Michelle Pelser from the Mondeor Community Policing Forum (CPF), the four men took the garden gate off the rails and smashed the front door to gain entrance to the house.
The children, who are minors, were at home at the time with the domestic.
Mondeor SAPS, ADT Security and Mondeor CPF were called to the scene with the Mondeor Victim Support Unit brought in to assist with trauma counseling.
The robbers escaped with TVs and unknown possessions in their bakkie, which is believed to be white or silver with no canopy.
