Community helps fire victims

It was bitterly cold out there, but it warmed my heart when I see how they appreciated what we sometimes take for granted.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – When a selfish, thoughtless person struck and destroyed the home of 30 adults and eight children, drugs were the factor again.

This happened on June 16, when a house in Jackson Street, West Turffontein, was burnt down.

Winchester Hills, Chrisville and Robertsham Neighbourhood Watch gave selflessly, while brothers and sisters came out to help feed the family.

Blankets, clothing and groceries were given. Turffontein EMS were amazing. People of Jackson Street, thank you for assisting.
