Super cool dads deserve the best

Dads are becoming more and more sophisticated these days - we've got the likes of David Beckham, the metro-sexual male, as well as the likes of Will Smith and our very own Michael Mol.

These dads are cool and exude an air of confidence like none the world has ever seen before. You might be thinking these dads are celebrities, but the millions of other dads out there, are so much more in touch with the modern world then the dads of yesteryear.

This Father’s Day, more dads will be expecting something hip and funky as their young, ultra-modern children will be waking them up with gifts such as stylish cards, electronic gizmo’s and the hottest clothing brands.

“Cardies has come up with themes that relate to more sophisticated card designs with very clean looks that incorporate colours beyond the classic `masculine’ colours of brown, blue and grey. The cards are contemporary and have sophisticated art and beautiful photographic shots printed on them,” says product manager of Cardies, John Boden.

“These new types of dads are settled into their careers, well educated and more in-tuned to world events. They deserve cards that relate to their family, their work and their world.”

Father’s Day has become iconic with honouring the one man in your life who for many years treasured your existence, has been with you through all your growing pains and shared your happiest moments.

Some dads are even honoured in the most elaborate ways by their children – clearly having a fondness for an extravagant lifestyle – these children have the opportunity to give their dads gifts such as fun getaways, box tickets to their favourite sports games or even test driving a Ferrari.

So if your dad is immaculately groomed, very cool and yet at the same time completely devoted to his family, get him a card that best describes him.

Remember, as cool as your dad might seem in his outward appearance, he genuinely will always be “just your dad”.
