Microchip your dogs
If this old fellow had had a microchip I may have been able to find his owner.
I found a small, old Jack Russell in Bellairs Drive, Glenvista, two weeks ago and took him to a local vet where he remained for three days, waiting patiently for his owner. He wasn’t claimed so I had to take him to Johannesburg SPCA.
“For 10 years of your life and 70 years of mine, I gave you my heart and soul and now I am lost. I have been taken to the Johannesburg SPCA and I’m waiting for you to come and take me home. I’m cold and scared. Please come before my life is ended.”
To all dog owners, please microchip your dogs. If this old fellow had had a microchip I may have been able to find his owner.
