Magical lights for festive season

THE Garden of Lights has been switched on once again for the entire festive season at Emperors Palace. The magnificent lights will be on until January 4, 2015.

Introduced in 2007, the mesmerising Garden of Lights has welcomed more than 800 000 visitors and boasts more than 200 character light displays and hundreds of kilometers of lighting. Months of planning and a dedicated team are just some of the festive ingredients needed to create this spectacular affair, where more than 140 000 visitors are expected to enjoy the 2014 Garden of Lights.

The entire family is welcome to pay a visit to this extraordinary experience and enjoy an evening at the spectacular Garden of Lights at Emperors Palace’s 5-Star D’oreale Grande Hotel. The official opening took place on Thursday December 4.

Television and radio presenter Jen Su of Dainfern assisted in officially “switching on” the Garden of Lights, which has welcomed more than 800 000 visitors. Presented in conjunction with the City of Ekurhuleni the spectacular affair will be open – free to the public once inside the complex – until January 4, from 19:00 to 22:00 daily, weather permitting.
