The Vengaboys are coming to Carnival City
The show will be packed with all the hits that have made The Vengaboys famous with songs like Up & Down, We Like To Party, Boom Boom Boom Boom, and We`re going to Ibiza.
JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Carnival City’s jam-packed summer entertainment line-up will feature two concerts by the world-famous Vengaboys. Carnival City has confirmed that the acclaimed Dutch commercial house ensemble will hit the stage for their first-ever shows at the Big Top Arena on December 12 and 13.
The show will be packed with all the hits that have made The Vengaboys famous since they burst onto the international music scene in the early 1997. Fans will get to see them perform songs like Up & Down, We Like To Party, Boom Boom Boom Boom, and We`re going to Ibiza.
With global sales of over 20 million singles and five million copies of their first album sold, Vengaboys have proved to be the most commercially successful Dutch group after 2Unlimited.
“We are thrilled to welcome The Vengaboys to our stage as part of our exciting holiday entertainment line-up. We expect a capacity crowd for the show,” says Jaco Saaiman, the Entertainment Manager at Carnival City.
The Vengaboys – the brainchild of two Dutch producers, Wessel van Diepen and Dennis van den Driesschen – is a Amsterdam-based eurodance/pop group that enjoyed phenomenal commercial success in the 1990s, becoming one of the most influential eurodance groups in the early 21st century. The group continues to maintain a busy tour schedule, with most shows based in Europe and Australia.
Their shows at the Big Top Arena start at 20:00, with doors opening earlier at 19:00. Tickets, available from Computicket, range in price from R350 to R490.
