Desiree Oliphant makes it to Mrs UN SA

Desiree Oliphant, an Alberton resident and a Mrs South Africa semi-finalist for 2014, has been chosen as a national delegate for the Mrs United Nations South Africa.

ALBERTON – Desiree has been chosen as an ambassador for married women in Gauteng. The press release from the head office based in Los Angeles stated that “Desiree was selected as a worthy ambassador for married women in her province. She has done her community proud!”

Desiree is excited about the journey ahead, and would like to invite Alberton and neighbouring communities to follow her on her journey.

“As a proud resident of Alberton, Brackendowns for the past 15 years it is important for me to make a tangible difference and a tremendous impact in our community,” she commented about her upcoming involvement in the pageant.

The preliminary judging will take place between August 29 to 30.

Here top three delegates will be selected at the final crowning event, and one will walk away with the prestigious title of Mrs United Nations South Africa 2015.
