Bride and Groom winners off to the Hilton

The winners of the Bride and Groom Competition 2013 have won themselves a stay at the Hilton Hotel in Durban, courtesy of the Glen Shopping Centre.

JOHANNESBURG – Mark and Tamsin Capell won the final round of judging at an elegant prizegiving ceremony hosted by Johnny’s Catering on Tuesday May 20.

Before announcing the winners, Dean Myburg from The Glen Shopping and one of the judges, reminded the contestants: “There are no losers today, we only have winners.”

The couple thanked the sponsors for the opportunity to be part of the competition and expressed that they did not expect to ultimately win the prize.

Tamsin and Mark will spend five nights at the Hilton Hotel near the Moses Mabida stadium, complemented by the tranquillity of the ocean.

All guest rooms at the Hilton Hotel offer gorgeous views of the city and KwaZulu-Natal coastline, with luxury amenities and easy access to Durban’s beaches and the central business district.

Not only is the hotel walking distance from the International Convention Center, it is also Durban’s prime landmark.

Winners of the Bride and Groom also walked away with prizes sponsored by Bargain Books, Dream Nails, Jewellery Design Company, NWJ as well as vouchers from The Glen Shopping Centre.

We would also like to thank Johnny’s Caterers for their sponsorship in hosting the event for the finals, as well as the Alberton Retirement Village, for the use of the conference and wedding venue on the premises.
