Reopened Southgate branch shows why Absa is the ‘Go-To’ bank

Temporarily closed for renovations, customers are now enjoying the benefits of a branch that has been extensively modernised.

SOUTHGATE – Absa announces that it has reopened its new-look Southgate branch in line with its endeavour of becoming South Africa’s ‘Go-To’ bank.

Apart from being transformed into the new face of modern banking, its streamlined business processes are all aimed at reducing waiting times and providing holistic and relevant solutions so that we enrich the customer experience.

To achieve this, our Southgate branch will be underscored by multi-skilled employees, enhanced digital channels and a reconfigured banking hall. The additional features at the branch are set to become the new standard across Absa, in support of a safe and convenient 24-hour banking experience.

Digital enhancements at the branch include ATMs which provide convenient card-less transactions like cash deposits; CashSend and Scan n Pay, which provides simple bill scanning, and payment; and contactless card services for Absa’s PayPass and My City Cards. The ATMs will also provide immediate short-term Instant Loans and e-Stamped statements thus providing 24 hour self service access to these services while also freeing up the banking hall for more complex transactions.
