Proud moment for young Luan

Young motocross rider, Luan Jordaan, was recently awarded his Junior Protea colours by Motorsport South Africa (MSA) over the weekend.

Luan Jordaan, an eight-year-old Grade Two learner from Laerskool Randhart, was honoured at the prestigious Motorsport of South Africa (MSA) Gala Awards on December 10.

At the event, Luan was awarded Protea Colours for motocross for his participation and results in the Motocross of African Nations (MXoAN) which took place during August, where the five-man South African 50cc team won their overall competition for their class.

Luan said: “It has taken me a lot of bumps and bruises, dedication and determination to achieve my goal and I’m extremely proud to have been awarded my Protea Colours”.
