Lewensentrum Athletic Club is pleased to welcome a range of achievements by their club members after taking part in the annual PPS Alberton Road Race.
In the 10km, Gillian Farquharsn and Deneke Snyman from Lewensentrum achieved third and fourth position respectively in the open women’s division.
The club invites the public to join them next year, with new membership fees of R600 for seniors and R260 for juniors.
This includes their 2024 running licence as well as a club T-shirt or vest.
They also invite the community to join them every Tuesday evening for their weekly 2km fun walk, or to test their skills in a 4km or 8km time trial, starting from Brackenhurst Bowling Club at 17:45.
Afterwards, locals can enjoy refreshments with the club members at the bowling club’s cash bar. All are welcome to join, no matter their level of fitness.
