Royal Race Day, where horse racing meets charity and fashion
Glitz, glamour and charity dominated Royal Race Day at Turffontein Racecourse.
Royal Race Day, the fourth leg of the World Sports Betting Championships season, left a lasting impression on everyone who attended the event, where sport, fashion, and charity combined to deliver a unique and exciting experience for racegoers at Turffontein.
This year, as is tradition with Royal Race Day, the spirit of charity was prominent amid the fashion and racing excitement. Three charities that assist those in need and promote social welfare in the communities in and around Turffontein were the beneficiaries of Royal Race Day.
The special day on the Highveld racing calendar was hosted by the Racehorse Owners’ Association and the Monaco Sport of Kings business group in partnership with 4Racing, as horse racing royalty and fun lovers converged at the Big T.
In addition, the ladies did not disappoint in bringing to life the Great Gatsby roaring 20s glitz and glam theme, and some were handsomely rewarded for doing so.
