The 2022 Carling Black Label Cup – four teams, four matches, for the fans

This year Mzansi’s champion beer, Carling Black Label, celebrates a decade-long legacy of the Carling Black Label Cup that has transcended the way football fans engage with the beautiful game.

With each year, the brand has explored different ways to empower the Champion fans, by giving them unprecedented power over the game. The 2022 Carling Black Label Cup set for November 12 at the FNB Stadium will be no exception as for the first time in the Cup’s history all 16 Premier Soccer League (PSL) clubs stand a chance of participating.

Football fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early as the brand, along with the PSL, have promised a full-day spectacle with the top four teams as voted for by the fans, all participating with ambitions of walking away with the full honours.

These tickets will only be available in digital format, which means that the purchaser will receive digital tickets, which can only be retrieved through the Ticketmaster mobile App or Ticketmaster account on a mobile browser on their phone. These tickets cannot be printed, and the ticket holder will have to produce the digital ticket on his/her digital device at the entry gate for scanning purposes.

Voting for the top four teams is open and will close on October 2 and will be announced on October 3 on Soccerzone. Champion fans will then have the power to select their starting 11 for a historic showdown at the Calabash using the same entry mechanic of buying a promo Carling Black Label beer, dialling *120*660* Underliner Code#.

On the day the gates will open at 08:00 with the first semifinal kickoff (third vs the fourth team) at 09:30. The second semifinal kickoff (first and second team) at 12:00.

There will be a third-place penalty shootout at 15:30, the final kick-off at 17:00 and the stadium closes at 20:30.
