Title fights comes to Booysens Boxing club
The fights that were lined up on the day attracted lots of local residents.
Gauteng Boxing Promoters Association, in partnership with SABC Sports, hosted the Luyanda Kana tournament at the Booysens Boxing Club on May 8.
Kana is known as a big matchmaker in the boxing world and supporters saw good bouts on the day that attracted lots of residents as well as supporters from across the country.

53kg catchweight – four rounds:
Andile Cindi (GP) drew with Thami Luthuli (GP).
Flyweight – six rounds:
Andile Nxayiphi (GP) won on points against Khayalethu Mbedge(GP).
64,5kg catchweight – six rounds:
Sivenathi Nolawu (Phumlani) won TKO 2 against Siya Mabena (GP).
Bantamweight – eight rounds:
Michael Daries (Kirkwood) won TKO 1 against Mawande Matroos (GP).
Main supporting bout:
Junior lightweight – eight rounds:
Siphosethu Mvula (D/village) won on unanimous points against Prince Ndlovu (Limpopo).
Main bout:
SA junior welterweight title bout – 12 rounds:
Prince Dlomo (GP) retained his SA title on an unanimous points decision against Xolani Mcotheli (M’sane).
