26th Soweto Marathon is fast approaching the halfway sold out target

Soweto Marathon chairman, Sello Khunou, said that the over-subscribed race is well on track to reach its increased entry capacity of 40 000 runners.

HAVING officially opened the entries on May 1, the 26th Soweto Marathon is fast approaching the halfway sold out target, in less than one month.

“November 3 is looking as promising as ever for our People’s Race to take to the Soweto streets, so we’re urging eager athlete’s to enter soon before entries close on July 31, if not sold out beforehand. We continue to work around the clock to strengthen the race offering to our runners, ensuring that as always, they yearly come back to enjoy the eight heritage sites on route, the warm Soweto hospitality as well as the iconic start and finish venue the FNB Stadium.”
