QUICK and fast counter attacking Johannesburg Central Netball Team (JCNB) from Turffontein is all about promoting local talent.
The team was established in 2002 and back then it had no kit or proper training facility.
Today JCNB has about 23 members with teams for u-15, u-19 and senior players and one coach, Nkosazana Kunene for all three teams.
JCNB plays every Saturday, be it home or away games, and the level of confidence that JCNB has is amazing. JCNB will be playing in national championships with a date still to be confirmed.
“We as JCNB wants to play on a professional level and with the commitment that we have, we can achieve that goal. When we play away games the players are the ones that contribute towards transportation,’’ said Nkosazana.
