JOIN the Epic Foundation team as they walk the MTN Walk the Talk with 702 on July 22 to help the organisation raise funds for its projects and initiatives to support survivors of rape and abuse.
To assist with fund-raising, the entry fee this year will be R300 per person for the 5km to 8km and R350 for 15km (fee includes a T-shirt).
You are also welcome to increase your entry fee as long as the minimum is as stated above. You can get corporates, family and friends to sponsor you per kilometre you walk, in addition to the entry fee.
The deadline for registration to the team is May 28 and final payments will be made by the Epic Foundation to 702 by May 27.
If you have already entered and paid 702, they will not be able to refund you so that the Epic Foundation can benefit.
Steps to follow to register for the Epic Foundation Team:
• Visit this website www.walkthetalk.co.za
• Select “Enter Now”
• Select “Join Existing Team”
• Enter details as per the screens and select EPIC Foundation
• The last step you will select is “Continue to Payment”. DO NOT PAY – at this point, you can log out. Alta McMaster will receive an email and will then approve you as a walker.
• You will make payment to the Epic Foundation into the following account and you will send proof of payment to info@epicfoundation.org.za Name: A McMaster, Bank: Nedbank, Branch: Alberton 172442, Acc no: 1724011251.
• 702 will invoice the Epic Foundation for the total number of walkers registered on their team and Alta will make the payment directly to them for the team on May 27.
• If you want to arrange park and ride or order any merchandise you can do that separately.
