The top anglers of Visarend Angling club at their competition at the Vaal dam.
VISAREND Angling Club held their March competition at Parkitons on the Vaal Dam on March 10 and 11.
The winners of the day are as follows:
Mini winner: Damien Schlebusch – 14 fish weighing a total of 5.258kg.
Veterans winner: André Herbst – 71 fish weighing a total of 32.948kg, second Bennie Bezuidenhout and third Clive Brook.
Ladies winner: Madelein Cordier – 64 fish weighing a total of 24.114kg, second Karen Nel and third Joanne Cheek.
Senior winner: Gideon Coetzer – 72 fish weighing a total of 38.154kg and second Jurrie Nel.
Heaviest fish: David Do O Faustino with a barbel weighing 8.2kg.
Poelpot and jackpot winner was Attie Pretorius with doubles winners Joanne Cheek and Gideon Coetzer.
Coetzer was also the overall winner.
