The ultimate battle of spinners is coming up

Ultimate Battle of the Provinces, Annette van Schalkwyk

THE Ultimate Battle of the Provinces will take place over the Easter weekend. Yes, spinning is a sport, authentically South African and recognised by the SA Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee as well as Motorsport SA and World of Motorsport SA. Spinning is also the fastest growing motorsport in the four corners of our country and surrounds.

The Ultimate Battle of the Provinces will be held at Monstermob Raceway in Kimberley over the weekend of March 31 to April 2.

The organisation was formed by spinners from various provinces in 2017 to foster and develop athletes in the sport of spinning, as well as to unite communities. Male and female spinner athletes from age 14 upwards are encouraged to train hard, compete to their best ability, respect their competitors and supporters and above all, have fun.

The organisation experienced great success at provincial and national level, and is recognised nationwide for its achievements, team unity, respect for competitors, community support, and striving for excellence both on and off the track.

All provinces participating in this league tournament, The Ultimate Battle of The Provinces, will do so at their own cost. Each province will have a team of 10 spinner athletes plus substitutes competing at the meeting.

Each province will get the opportunity host The Ultimate Battle of The Provinces on an annual rotational basis.

Anyone who would like to support the organisation can contact Riyad Haffejee on 072 491 9384 or e-mail riyadhaffejee@gmail.com
