Relish races at Rock Oval

The finals of the Rock Oval club championship will take place on Saturday.

THE finals of the Rock Oval club championship will take place on November 11 at The Rock Raceway venue in Brakpan.

It’s a big dash to victory lane for drivers fighting for the final points of the season as the 2017 oval club championship draws to a close.

Come support your favourite driver and club at the full-programmed event.

Youngsters racing in the South African Ninja Class A will be driving a variety of open wheelers ranging from, 125 Shifter Karts, Standard Midgets and V8 Sprints on the circuit. Saloon cars and space frames will include classes like 1 600 Stock Rods 1 660 modified Saloons 2L Hotrods and Super Saloons. Formula N circuit cars will also take to the long circuit which entwines with the oval section.

Gates will open at 10am with practice sessions throughout the day while racing proper will start at 4pm. Spectator entry for adults is R70 and children aged six to 12 will pay R30.

Refreshments will be on sale on site. Bring all your friends, families and adrenaline junkies to relish the high octane antics of the oval brigade. Venue is at the Rock Raceway 18 Main Reef Road in Brakpan. For more info contact 011 740 8315 or website rockracing.co.za.
