RA’I Dada (13), a Grade Seven learner at Laerskool Theo Wassenaar, won the junior foosball (table soccer) championship recently.
The competition was held at Trade Route Mall in Lenasia. Ra’i has been chosen to represent South Africa at an international biennial competition in Spain in 2019.
“We would like to wish him all the best. He has made us very proud. It’s a pity that he will not be with us then, but he will always have our support,” said principal Firzaana Tagari.
