THE second Karate Syndicate team event championship was recently held and JKA South Bassonia and they held their own.
It was an exciting day with drama in the senior elite unison kata and the senior elite mixed team kumite event being resolved with a sudden death match. The two teams that tied for first place had to put up one fighter each to break the tie and the nail-biting final ended with a 2-1 score.
