Xerox Golden Lions u-19 side will defend their provincial title on Saturday.
Xerox Golden Lions u-19 side will defend their provincial title in Durban on October 28 against the Free State Cheetahs. This will also serve as a curtain raiser for the Currie Cup finals between Cell C Sharks and DHL Western Province.
The Currie Cup finals start at 4pm.
The Lions u-19 side won the title against Western Province 60-19 last year.
Consistency has been perhaps the Cubs’ biggest ally with record-breaking tries and an average of 49.61 points per game this season.
The Lions Rugby Company is proud of their juniors’ success and wishes them all the best. Wandisile Simelane who hails from the South will start at centre for the Lions.
