Bidvest Wanderers Stadium opens the refurbished medis centre.

The 2017/2018 season has arrived with an action-packed cricket itinerary. From the bizhub Highveld Lions to the Proteas taking on Australia and India, as well as being host to the Joburg Giants for T20 Global League, the Bullring is set to deliver the best in cricket entertainment yet again.

The Bidvest Wanderers Stadium is proud to announce that they are welcoming the new season with a completely new look and design for the Charles Fortune Media Centre. The renovated space ensures that the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium remains not only a world-class stadium but additionally ensures that the representatives of the media will have the best facilities in which to operate.

The increasing broadcast requirements of the international game have meant that the facilities that were once more than adequate needed to be expanded to accommodate new technological requirements.

The GCB is proud to launch this new facility which has had a top-to-bottom revamp that includes a completely new stylish look and feel, improved buffet and catering area, increased capacity of 70 written and digital media, expanded radio broadcast facilities, separate and increased designated areas for home and visiting broadcasters, meeting areas and electrical connectivity improvements.

The branding and memorabilia tell the story of the intangible magic that happens when cricket is played at the Bullring. Selected images of our crowds and key historic moments that have taken place at the Bullring showcase some of the proudest moments of the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium.
