The Hamlet brings back medals from Austria

A huge thank you goes to Darren Simpson and his breakfast team who raised funds for the athletes, Emirates Airline for flying them to Austria and back and The Northgate Skating Rink for giving them time to practise.

THREE athletes from The Hamlet received medals at the Winter Games in Austria.

They were among the 25 athletes and they brought back 11 medals in total. The speed skating team brought back six medals: two gold, one silver and three bronze.

The figure skaters got gold, silver and two bronze medals and the floor hockey team from Limpopo brought home a gold medal.

A huge thank you goes to Darren Simpson and his breakfast team who raised funds for the athletes, Emirates Airline for flying them to Austria and back and The Northgate Skating Rink for giving them time to practise.

Come and join The Hamlet at The Glen Shopping Centre on August 29, 30 and 31 as they will be selling stickers at R10 to raise funds for Civvies Day on September 1.
