Join “Bikers’ Run Against Rape” on Women’s Day
This is an event in support of rape and molestation victims and will start in Brakpan, ending in Boksburg.
THE Epic Foundation, with the support of Adullam Biker Ecclesia, will be having a “Bikers’ Run Against Rape” on Women’s Day, August 9 and everyone is invited.
This is an event in support of rape and molestation victims and will start in Brakpan and ends in Boksburg. The programme of the run is as follows:
- Start at the AM Fireplace (Old UFO) in Brakpan at 7am.
- Meet up at BP garage N1 at 8.30am.
- Meet up at Caltex garage (around the Danie Joubert Freeway to the R21) at 9.30am.
- Meet up at the Highveld Engen 1Stop R21 at 10.30am.
- Reach the final destination – The Zone, Boksburg.
Once everyone reaches The Zone, there will be plenty of fun waiting. This includes food and craft stalls, jumping castles and live music – something for the whole family to enjoy. There will also be badges of the event for sale at R20 each.
Epic Foundation also asks that people donate shampoo, face cloths, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, soap, tissues, combs and lip balm towards their rape victim kits. These can be handed in at one of the stops mentioned in the programme.
