Red Dragons do their grading

The school teaches the Sul-Sa-Do fighting system, based on military style close-quarter combat

THE Red Dragon Fighting Art in Alberton recently welcomed their grand master’s wife, Wendy Hwarangdo, to their school.

Wendy and two of her instructors, Lee-Bin and Fee-Bee, came to see how things are done here. It also happened to be their first time in South Africa.

“They are very impressed with us keeping to their traditions and cultural meanings within our art,” said Lucas van der Schyff from the school.

“This was a big honour for myself as well as my students to have been able to host our honorable guests. They had only good commentary about our lovely country and we look forward to their next visit,” he added.

The school teaches the Sul-Sa-Do fighting system, based on military-style close-quarter combat.

Lucas said that it is perfect for anyone and everyone who would like to learn self-defence.
