Bikers donate warm clothes

Flaming Hawks Biker Group donates blankets and food to the underprivileged.

IT was pure pleasure to see the excitement and experience grateful hearts when Flaming Hawks Biker Group from the South visited Forever Strong from Krugersdorp on Sunday, June 12.

The biker group donated blankets, food and other winter necessities to the underprivileged children of the centre, which boasts a preschool and aftercare centre. When Danny Hyman, president of Flaming Hawks, his fiancée, Candice May and Flaming Hawks members found out about Forever Strong for underprivileged children, they simply had to get involved and contribute to ease the plight of these children. Danny explains that they immediately involved all club members, family and friends in full force. “No one has ever become poor from giving, and that is the philosophy of the Flaming Hawks,” he said

Forever Strong caters for underprivileged children who require a place to go during the day and after school. Desire Nobrega, a member of Forever Strong says that these children need to feel they can achieve their dreams and are not doomed to be living on the streets.

The Flaming Hawks also used this opportunity to donate winter clothing and blankets and they also treated the children to hot dogs and sweet packets. These sincere and warm gifts were met with true excitement and grateful hearts.

Danny, Candice and all Flaming Hawks members would like to thank all who opened their hearts to this worthy cause and would like to encourage other community members to do the same.
