DALMONDEOR Primary School’s prefect team formed part and parcel of an Obstacle Course Training session at Thaba Trials, which took place on Thursday, March 3.
The principal, Mr Potgieter, said: “We at Dalmondeor Primary encourage teamwork and found that using an obstacle course challenge was a phenomenal experience for these learners and ourselves. It is amazing how they can work together in a difficult situation and OCT South comes highly recommended.”
Some 32 learners took part in the training session and the aim was to identify leadership. Rudi Delport from OCT said: “It amazes me how these learners stuck together through each obstacle to overcome what they thought would be extremely difficult. We encourage teamwork, family involvement as well as the individual wanting to get fit and have fun doing so.
“We are all facing obstacles in our day to day lives and what OCT South does is help you face these challenges, either by yourself or as a team.”
OCT will be hosting a dad’s, lads, lasses camp on April 8 where they can come together as a family, have fun and give back to those who need it most.
