Rock Raceway is going to be a hive of motorsport activity.

THE Rock Raceway is going to be a hive of motorsport activity with a full weekend of racing planned for oval track fans over the weekend of March 12 and 13.

All of the oval track competitors will be in action as they hotfoot around the oval 400m oval circuit in the quest to obtain the ultimate podium finish.

The competitors will include Kids In Racing SA Ninja Class ages six to 12 years old, 100cc Micro Midgets, 125 Shifter Karts, Formula 2 Midgets, 1600 Stock Rods, 1660 Modified Saloons, Super Midgets, V8 Lexus Class, Outlaw V8 Sprints, 2.1 L Pinto Class, Super Saloons and Formula N Circuit Racing.

Spectator tickets are R65 for adults and R30 for children aged six to 12. Embankment parking costs R50 per vehicle and no reservations are allowed.

Sufficient food and refreshments will be on sale at the circuit so you won’t go hungry or thirsty.

At the Next Street 2 Strip Drags Sunday Night gates open at 14:00 and racing starts at 16:00. Bring your daily drive along and enjoy heads up street drags in a safe environment, remember folks don’t drag in the street bring it to The Rock, become a responsible drag racer, and drag at a safe venue like The Rock.

Entrance fees for adults are R30 and R20 for children aged six to 12.
