THE Emirates Golden Lions will meet the Vodacom Bulls in Polokwane in the Peter Mokaba Stadium on February 13, 2016, in a much anticipated pre-season warm-up for the 2016 Super Rugby season.
It is a repeat of a warm-up that was played between these two teams back in 2010 at the same venue.
“It is good to meet up with our neighbours from across the Jukskeiriver in this exciting warm-up to the new season and we are looking forward to taking our brand to the community, where there will surely be Lions supporters in attendance,” said Rudolf Steauli, CEO of the Golden Lions.
The impressive 45 000-seater World Cup 2010 stadium is part of a partnership between the Blue Bulls Company (BBC) and the Polokwane Municipality, with the aim at generating funds for tertiary students in the Province.
Kick-off is at 17:00 and a host of activities will precede the big event of the day.

Tickets cost R100 (Grand Stand), R80 (East Stand), R60 for North and South Stand, R30 for scholars (if schools do block booking, the school can retain R10 of the R30).
Parking tickets will be on sale at Computicket for R20.
