2014/2015 PSL Awards nominees.

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) have released their nominees for the 2014/2015 season PSL Awards.

The highly anticipated event will take place on Sunday, May 17, and will kick-off at 20:00.

Some of the nominees include local clubs such as Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.

The nominees are:

Footballer of the season: Cole Alexander (Polokwane City), Eric Mathoho (Kaizer Chiefs) and TefuMashamaite (Kaizer Chiefs).

Absa Premiership:

Absa Premiership Players’ Player of the Season: TefuMashamaite (Kaizer Chiefs), Eric Mathoho (Kaizer Chiefs) and Teko Modise (Mamelodi Sundowns).

Absa Premiership Goalkeeper of the Season: Anssi Jaakkola (Ajax Cape Town), Moeneeb Joseph (Bidvest Wits) and Patrick Tignyemb (Bloemfontein Celtic).

Absa Premiership Defender of the Season: Thulani Hlatshwayo (Bidvest Wits), Tefu Mashamaite (Kaizer Chiefs) and Eric Mathoho (Kaizer Chiefs).

Absa Premiership Midfielder of the Season: Cole Alexander (Polokwane City), Willard Katsande (Kaizer Chiefs) and Teko Modise (Mamelodi Sundowns).

Absa Premiership Young Player of the Season: Rivaldo Coetzee (Ajax Cape Town), AbbubakerMobara (Ajax Cape Town), and Phumlani Ntshangase (Bidvest Wits).

Absa Premiership Coach of the Season: Stuart Baxter (Kaizer Chiefs), Pitso Mosimane (Mamelodi Sundowns) and Kosta Papic (Polokwane City).

Absa Premiership Absa-lutely Awesome Goal of the Season: Menzi Masuku (Orlando Pirates), Aubrey Ngoma (MP Black Aces) and David Zulu (Chippa United/ Kaizer Chiefs).

Nedbank Cup:

Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament: David Mathebula (SuperSport United), Tasreeq Morris (Ajax Cape Town), Teko Modise (Mamelodi Sundowns).

Nedbank Cup Most Promising Player of the Tournament: Bantu Mzwakali (Ajax Cape Town), Tashreeq Morris (Ajax Cape Town) and Riyaad Norodien (Ajax Town Cape).

Telkom Knockout:

Telkom Knockout Player of the Tournament: SiyabongaMpontshane (Platinum Stars/ Orlando Pirates), ThusoPhala (SuperSport United), Dove Wome (SuperSport United).

MTN8:

MTN8 Last Man Standing: George Maluleka (Kaizer Chiefs), Mandla Masango (Kaizer Chiefs), Tefu Mashamaite (Kaizer Chiefs).

National First Division:

Top Goal Scorer of the Season: Phumelele Bhengu (Thanda Royal Zulu).

Match Officials:

Referee of the Season: Kulasande Gqonqo, Robert Smith and Shumani Phillip Tinyani.

Assistant Referee of the Season: Peter Chauke, Luvuyo Pupuma and ZakheleSiwela.
