Varsity Sports to dominate Monday evenings

Varsity Sports will dominate Monday evenings.

Varsity Sports will dominate Monday evenings as from April 20, seven out of eight days will see a Varsity Sports event feature on television. The week kicks off with the Varsity Athletics event in Stellenbosch, followed by the Varsity Cup Dream team taking on the Junior Boks, also in Stellenbosch.

On Wednesday and Thursday, it’s time for the Varsity Volleyball at the University of the Western Cape, before the jamboree concludes with the Varsity Rugby Sevens at Villagers on April 25 to 27.

All these events will be offering some of South Africa’s best young athletes an opportunity to showcase their skills to the public. The variety of sports on offer means that there will be something on show for everyone, no matter which code you prefer as sportainment heads into overdrive.

The events will feature some of South Africa’s top young sports people, including Caster Semenya, Akani Simbine, Bejancke Della and Rhyno Smith, to name just a few.

“The jam-packed schedule speaks to Varsity Sports’s commitment to growing young talent in this country among all sporting codes. It’s vital to help young athletes in all sports in South Africa, and the fact that we have such a full schedule shows that we take our role of supporting young talent seriously,” said Duitser Bosman, CEO of Varsity Sports.
