JKA South Bassonia students and instructors did themselves proud at the SA JKA National Dan gradings recently.
Jade Webber-Maeder, Zoe Bell, Brittany Shepstone, Corne Bell, Robbie Els, Renier Els and Chadwin Deysel all graded to Shodan (1st Dan). Assistant Instructor Paige Stopforth graded to Nidan (2nd Dan) and Molefi Lebone to Sandan (3rd Dan). Senior Instructors Derrick Bell and Karyn Smith were promoted to Godan (5th Dan). Andrew Kallman was graded to Shodan (1st Dan) and Johann Rossouw and Steve Elliott were promoted to Nidan (2nd Dan) in November 2014.
Classes for all ages and belt levels are held Monday to Thursdays.
