TIME is running out for athletes to take hold of a superb opportunity to run a personal best on the fast route of the 2015 Colgate 15/32km road race presented by Boksburg Athletic Club.
The race will start and finish at the Boksburg City Stadium on Sunday May 3. Those who want to take advantage of the new course, specifically designed to produce fast times, will need to get their entries in before the closing date.
Entries will still be taken up to the Saturday before the race, until the 6 000 limit of entrants has been reached. No entries will be accepted on race day.
Apart from the road races, there will also be a 50 metre dash for children u.8, which starts at 10:00 with no entry fee.
Medals will be awarded to all who enter. There will also be jumping castles for the children, and for the spectators and family members food and warm drinks.
There is also a 6 km fun run which starts at 07:00, with the first 2 000 finishers receiving medals.
