Southern Suburbs cricket champions

President's first cricket team played their way into the memories of the spectators.

PRESIDENT’S first cricket team played their way into the memories of both, coaches and players, parent and opponents on their way to be the undisputed Southern Suburbs champions once again.

President’s first team played ten matches in the early part of 2015 and won nine. Going through to the end of the season with one loss to your name is an amazing feat. Being the sporting giant of the South, President should expect to be on top in the cricketing world, but to blast away any challenge to their reign as happened this year, is amazing.

The school had individual brilliance, which just stood out even more than the three wickets per match or 40 runs a match that was good to see.

Sheldon Huxham took a hat-trick and 4/14/10 against Hoërskool Vorentoe.

Yasteel Dhanraj made 60 runs against Hoërskool Vorentoe in his batting innings.

Pravesh Sigamoney made 81 against Curro Aurora.

Kenny Weimers made 74 against Curro Aurora.

Calvin Haak made 87 against Sahiti and made the fastest 50 in President’s history, achieving this with 15 balls.

The school is proud of their cricketers and believe they will grow even more in the coming years!
