Kaizer Chiefs rearing to go

The ABSA Premiership league will resume for the second half of the season.

KAIZER Chiefs, front runners in the Premier Soccer League will take on the second half of their comments with earnest.

“We enjoyed the break and will look forward to take on the second half with great earnest,” said head coach of Kaizer Chiefs Stuart Baxter.

The club has one new signing for this part of the season, David Zulu. “I don’t think it will be a problem to play for Chiefs and to fit in, I will give my utmost and will do my duty,” said former Chippa United FC player.

In the meantime, all the Southern-based Kaizer Chiefs players have returned from national duty and will be available to defend their top of the league position.

“For me it has been another experience,” said Reneilwe “Yeye” Letsholonyane, after he has returned with his Chiefs teammates and doing duty for Bafana Bafana at AFCON 2015. Yeye, Bernard Parker, Mandla Masango, Brilliant Khuswayo and Erick Mathoho played for the national team.

“It’s good to be back. I didn’t have much playtime, but the tournament was an eye-opener,” said Yeye.

Chiefs will play against Bloemfontein Celtic in the ABSA Premeiership league on Wednesday February 11 in Bloemfontein. The kick-off time is at 19:30.
