Kaizer Chiefs will play German Bundesliga team, 1899 Hoffenheim.
The friendly match will take place this Friday January 16 at FNB stadium. The kick-off time will be at 19:30.
Hoffenheim is currently in seventh position on the log and just two points away from a possible UEFA Champions League qualification.
Chiefs will soon start their CAF African Champions League campaign and this encounter will be an excellent test.
“We know the quality of the Kaizer Chiefs players,” said German top side 1899 Hoffenheim’s sport director Alexander Rosen ahead of the evening’s clash against the Amakhosi. “They are also tactically very good.”
Hoffenheim is having their mid-season campaign in South Africa. Head coach of Chiefs Stuart Baxter will be looking at some positives in his team.
