Carnival City plays host to EFC 34 on Thursday October 2. Doors will open at 15:30.
Mdoko, the showman from Cape Town, is a crowd favourite with an impressive finishing record. `The Monster` has put away all three of his last opponents and has never been finished.
Another must-see clash is between Francois Groenewald and the most dominant athlete in EFC history, Demarte Pena, for EFC Gold. Pena is renowned for his grappling-based fighting style. Groenewald is a world bronze Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu medalist. He has vowed to be the man to up-end Pena`s devastating ground game and put his nine-fight winning streak to an end. In addition to these, there are 11 more action-packed bouts for EFC followers to sink their teeth into.

Over 100 of the continent’s toughest MMA athletes are exclusively contracted to EFC, fighting out of countries such as South Africa, DRC, Angola, Nigeria, Egypt and more, to showcase their skills in front of thousands of fans in sold-out arenas.With ten new events per year, each hosting at least 12 explosive bouts, EFC is a sport entertainment phenomenon which has captured the attention of passionate and loyal fans throughout Africa and the world.
The event kicking off at 16:00. Everything will be done and dusted by about 23:00. Tickets range in price from R225 to R790 for VIP. The ticket cost includes an Event Guide, Fight Card and information valued at R50.
